How to Make Afghani khichdi (Green gram/Mung bean with double rice)

Afghani Khichdi


Ingredients:

* Dobble rice
* Mung bean
* Turmeric powder
* Cumin seeds
*ِ Dry red chilies
* Coriander
* Salt 
* Oil
* Onion
* Tomato
* water

Instructions

*  In a pressure cooker heat the oil
* Chop onion, tomato finely, add in the oil
* Saute till onions turn light brown
* After that add chopped tomato along with cumin seeds powder,turmeric powder,dry red chilies,coriander,salt 



* Fry it for a minute
* Pour water as much as necessary, and along with soak the rice & green gram/mung bean
* Pressure cook for 15 whistles.


* Once the pressure gets released from the cooker,
* Give dum for 15 or 20 minutes.

How to Cook Veg Rice Recipe

Ingredients :

* Rice
* Oil
* Salt
* Carrots,Potato,Cabbage,capsicum(bell pepper),green peas
* Galic
* Turmeric Powder
* Fresh pepper chopped to taste
* Cumin
* Ginger
* Hot water for boiling rice



Instructions

* Heat Oil in a large pan over a medium heat.
* Saute the onions until translucent.chopped the carrots, garlic and bell peppers(capsicum),potato,ginger.
* Add all these  in to oil and continue cooking for a few minutes.



* Boil rice in hot water



* Cook until the liquid starts to bubble, give it a real good stir, turn down low, cover with a lid and cook until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed, then mix all Ingredients with rice & give dum for 30 minutes.

How to Cook Beef Mantu Recipe

Ingredients for the Beef Mantu


* Ground beef meat
* Onions, chopped
* Minced garlic
* Black pepper powder
* Turmeric powder
* Coriander powder
* Oil
* Salt & Pepper to taste
* As much as necessary wonton wraps.

How to Cook Beef Mantu

  * Heat pan over a medium heat and add the garlic, ground beef,coriander,and some salt. Cook until   the meat is half way cooked almost 20 minutes.Add black pepper to taste.



* Mix chopped onions with meat and let it cool down.
* Cut wonton wraps in to 4 circles or squares.



* Place approximately one tablespoon of cooled ground meat and onion mixure on to each wrap. to make the wraps stick together easily, wet the edges with water. Fold over first two opposite ends of the wrap, followed by other two ends to enclose dumplings.press the edges tightly to seal together. continue doing this with the remaining wraps.



* Take the racks out of the steamer dish. Add water to the dish, cover and bring to boil. Grease the bottom of the steamer racks with oil to prevent sticking and place the dumplings on top, leaving some room in between each dumpling. Once water has come to boil, place the racks filled with dumplings back on to the steamer dish. Cover lid and steam for approximatelt 45 minutes.
* While the dumplings are steaming, prepare the yogurt dry mint mixture.

How to Cook Fried Aloo Chaat


                                                    
- Boiled potato in hot water 



- Chopped the potato in square pieces.



- Deep fry the boiled potatoes until golden and crisp and put them into a plate. 


- At the end add salt aloo chaat masala , cumin & coriander powder, mix it with each other & season with potatoes.

How to Cook Afghani Kabuli Pulao Recipe


Ingredients Of Kabuli Pulao

1- Rice
2- Oil
3- Carrot
4- Pulao masala
5- Sugar
6- Cardamom
7- Salt
8- Raisins








How to Make Kabuli Pulao

1.Soak the rice in water.




2.Deep fry carrots and raisins in oil in a pan.



3. Boil rice in a separate pan (equal part of rice and water.) When water starts boiling, strain the rice and add it into the pot.




4.Add the above ingredients and whole spice powder along with the soaked rice into the pan.



5.When all the water is absorbed, put lid on the pot,cover and steam cook (give dum) it for 15 & 20 minutes,after that Kabuli Pulao is ready.
